SOIL FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Soil genesis, frequently referred to as pedogenesis, is the complex process by which soils are formed. This continuous transformation involves the interaction of numerous factors, including climate, topography, parent material, biomass, and time. These factors act in a synergistic manner to shape the physical, chemical, and biological properties of
